From Competition to Careers: Celebrating 20 years!
The Challenge is a team-based competition for students in grades 5-8, focusing on innovation and collaboration, that reflects the nature of today’s workplaces. It encourages students to explore science and use STEM-embedded curriculum to understand sustainability questions and community-based solutions.
This year, CEF is excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the You Be The Chemist Challenge®! The Challenge has seen half a million students participate, $250,000 in scholarships awarded, and 10,000 volunteers provide 60,000 volunteer hours over the first 20 years. Let’s see what we can achieve together over the next 20!
Join us on June 11 to honor the top 5 National Finalist teams from across North America as they compete for the National Champion title and about $50,000 in scholarships!
